Your Responsibilities

LC-Tec is looking for an engineer to join our Process/Product Technology team, responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing activities for the introduction of new products, process changes, product changes, and quality improvements. This includes developing the right manufacturing method and ensuring that conditions are in place to manufacture products to the right quality, time, and cost. The team is also responsible for transferring processes/products to external manufacturers.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Development, monitoring, and qualification of manufacturing processes.
• Active participation in various development, improvement, and investment projects as a specialist in manufacturing processes.
• Participation in, or leading, the transfer of products to external manufacturers.
• Initiation and implementation of improvements and savings.
• Contact with customers, suppliers, and other external manufacturing companies.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree, preferably a master's degree in chemistry, physics, or a related field, as well as experience in the manufacturing industry – preferably with a focus on process development. Great emphasis is placed on your personal qualities, as the role requires trust and collaboration in close dialogue with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and management. We are looking for someone who is communicative, responsible, and has a solution-oriented mindset.

Since the majority of our customers, suppliers, and partners are international, travel abroad is required. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written. The position is a permanent full-time employment. You are expected to be on-site at LC-Tec's facility in Borlänge several days a week. Start date is according to agreement, and we apply collective agreements.
